WHAT'S RIGHT WITH THE CHURCH

Matthew 16:13-18

Introduction: Luke 5:1-10 speaks of the draught of fishes. As you look at this you must say

1. There was nothing wrong with the Ship - "Church"

2. There was nothing wrong with the Net -"Gospel"

3. There was nothing wrong with the Water - "Location"

To many today are looking for what's wrong with the Church. What's Right?

I. FOUNDED UPON A GREAT ROCK!  vs.18  Jesus is the...

    Foundation Under Our Feet - "Solid"  Will not Shake.

    Framework Of Our Faith - Heb.11:3 "Stable"  Will not Sway.

II. FURNISHED WITH GREAT RESOURCES!  (Luke 5)  Phil.4:19

      His Presence - Devine

      His Piloting - Direction

      His Power - Draught - Saw His Works - Heard His Words

     His Providence - Dependence - Gave them more than they could handle.

III. FACED WITH GREAT RESISTENCE!   From within - without - and below

       Our Dictrine - Belief

       Our Deeds - Behaviour

IV. FITTED WITH A GREAT REMANANT!   Remanant - "what's left" "Not the whole, but enough to do the Job"  Thank God for those who will....Stay, Stand, Serve, and Support!

V. FASHIONED BY A GREAT RAPTURE!   IThess. 4:13-18

       Caught Up By The Lord -

       Changed Into His Likeness-
